Skill Level Definitions

Baby/buddy – 6 mo-2.5 yrs. One Buddy in pool with baby. Please have same buddy each lesson. 5:30-6:00 classes in each session are reserved for Baby/Buddy
Beginner – Not comfortable with face/head under water
Novice – Head under water or can swim under water but can't breathe independantly yet!
Intermediate – Swims under water. Needs stroke definition or stroke strengthening & review.
Advanced – Swims most strokes, needs strengthening, stamina work, diving & flip-turn practice.

Information & Registration Process

Pool is heated and protected from sun. The bath house is inside pool area. No showers please, the bathroom must be accessible always!

Tuition

2 week sessions $185, limit 3 children per instructor, unless stroke class-limit 4 per instructor, baby/buddy class limit 6. Includes swim lesson t-shirt to be worn during class! Limit one t-shirt per swim season. Confirm space by returning registration form and a non-refundable deposit of $95, remaining balance of $90 for $185 session/ or balance of $35 due for $130 session. Scheduling

Classes are formed on a first come first serve basis. To ENSURE desired swim time is secured, return form & registration as soon as possible. Siblings can be put in back to back classes 95% of the time. Nora will try to place you in the spot best for your family.

Children WEAR T-SHIRTS IN THE POOL, shirts are a teaching aid. Swim school t-shirts are included in tuition fee and will be provided on the first day of class.

Private lessons are available mostly on Saturdays and occasionally during the week. All ages, all ability levels. Please email Nora for private lesson information and scheduling.

Class size: Class sizes are as semi-private.

Lesson size: There will be 2-3 children in beginner and novice levels for all ages. Advanced classes, that is, those children that are confident and strong deep water swimmers, 6+ year old confident swimmers may occasionally have 2-5 swimmers per teacher.

Rain Procedure

If you are uncertain about the weather and wonder whether swim lessons are cancelled or not, please call 30 minutes prior to your scheduled class for a rain update. Please come to class UNLESS the rain message SPECIFICALLY tells you not to come! We do swim in the rain on occasion, if thunder is not occurring.
